Meet the Founder

For more than twenty years, I have devoted my life to studying the healing arts—not simply as an academic pursuit, but through a deeply personal journey of transformation.
Like many who find this path, my greatest teachers have been lived experience. My work has grown from navigating the unseen world, healing chronic health challenges, and exploring what it truly means to return to balance and step into our authentic power as living beings. The Spirit Drum has been my companion for most of my journey, and like a life long friend I have got to know her well. Along the way, I have discovered that true healing is never about treating one part of ourselves in isolation. It is about remembering the interconnected nature of our physical, mental, emotional and spiritual selves.
For most of my life, I have walked within a shamanic framework, learning to listen deeply to the wisdom carried by nature, sound, rhythm and Spirit. This way of seeing recognizes that everything carries its own unique frequency and song—including every person, every plant and every challenge we encounter.
As a master craftswoman and artist, I create instruments that embody these living frequencies. Each drum, rattle and ceremonial tool is handcrafted with intention to become more than an object—it becomes a companion, carrying the teachings of particular archetypes, natural forces and plant allies to support life's unfolding journey.
Sound has always been at the heart of my work. Voice, rhythm, vibration and the natural pulse that lives within every individual offer profound pathways for remembering who we are. Whether through drumming, song, movement or silence, I believe healing begins when we reconnect with our own unique rhythm, and access own own inner knowing.
Each of us has the ability to reclaim our power, our capacity to know, to navigate life with joy and creativity.
The Drum reconnects us with our feeling body, a body long forgotten, dismissed, demonized and ignored.
It is the feeling body that allows us to know what is true and what is false, what is aligned and what is not. It is the feeling body that helps us navigate this journey we call life, and it is the feeling body that returns us to the natural world and guides us to walk in beauty.
Nature remembers who we are.
When we slow down, listen deeply, and reconnect with the living world, we begin to hear our own song again.
Welcome to Spirit Drum—a place where ancient wisdom, plant medicine, sound and Spirit come together to support a life of greater balance, vitality and connection.
